the sound of silence

We were there on April 28 this year

It was 22 years yesterday since 9/11. All that is left in the ground are two gaping holes where the Twin Towers stood with water flowing into them signifying the memory of the ghastly event that happened then. A meaningless thing that served an eerie or no purpose depending on who you asked.

Just questions with no answers. And all I can do is ask “why” to no end.
