I watched the Netflix movie “Worth” and unlike my previous watch the last of the Bond movie, this one was worthy of watching. For a low-budget movie, it was extremely well-made and a moving portrayal based on the true story of the 9/11 compensation fund and how it was handled. It is not often you see government machinery even work, and work effectively at doing something, so it was an outlier from that perspective.
It makes one ponder deeply about questions on the value of human life, on what life is really worth? on whether we can truly measure the value of a life? and the deep need for humans to be heard - their stories and narratives and the sharing of their suffering and pain. Morality and ethics are hard. And it is tough to be virtuous by exhibiting truth, goodness, and beauty in all circumstances with decorum, humility, and courage.
An excellent watch if you have not watched it yet.
