It was wishful thinking just yesterday on the improvement of the airport security lines. I even picked the terminal entry point where they are using the latest machines which do not require the removal of laptops, liquids, etc. And that really worked like a charm this time. It wasn’t just enough. The lines were bad. The volumes were incorrigible.
With the long lines, it took me two hours to get through the security check and pass the European immigration which was woefully understaffed. The moral of this story, I do need to rethink the European options that I use to travel to India. My current choices include flying through London, Frankfurt, or Paris and each of these has become a challenging option from a travel hub pass-through point of view. Newer choices mean traveling through the Middle East which involves long 15-16 hours flight hops from Canada to Doha, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, or other Middle Eastern locations.
A Hobson’s choice. Heads I lose. Tails I lose.
