One day it was hot and thirty-two Celsius (ninety Fahrenheit) and the next day summer was done. Just like clockwork. In fact, the last week was hot with high temperatures and the prediction from now on is less than mid-twenties at best.
Every year this happens. Right around Labor Day every year, but this year it was about a week to ten days late. Fall solstice begins September 21st, but then again the reality doesn’t read weather reports and patterns. And goes with its own flow.
Reminds me of how fast time flies. And to make the best use of it. Blink and you often miss things. Here in Canada, winter is coming now, whether we like it or not. But hey, there is a little bit of fall just yet to enjoy the joyous color change in between getting to the mostly barren trees and plants.
