What were a couple of my combs doing in the dishwasher? The new age mantra is to reduce, reuse, and recycle. If we actually mean it and practice it.
My hair follicles have been playing the “reduce” game over the last several years by not growing out, so sadly it was time for my comb collections to go. Most of my hair maintenance nowadays is running the #6 trimmer all over my head for a uniforming mowing of sorts. Until the delusion of acceptance comes over my total baldness.
After a thorough wash and then being sanitized in the dishwasher, the combs will hopefully have additional “reuse” life with my wife and daughter. A family heirloom of sorts though they were Walgreens bought and probably Chinese made years ago.
More than anything there are countless memories of travel and better hairy years associated with these combs. So helps not to throw these memories away.
Sayonara combs. Enjoy the new next chapter of your plastic life.
