I keep coming back to the perspectives offered by Steve Jobs - a lens that I can relate to closely.

I have written about his “Forever crazy ones” and “Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish” (which today’s thoughts were a part of) thoughts before.

This part from the speech has merit to stand on its own so today I extract the piece that I infinitely love. Connecting the dots. An excellent view on the complexity of being human and how to exist with it.

You can't connect the dots looking forward you can only connect them looking backwards.
So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.
You have to trust in something: your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever.
Because believing that the dots will connect down the road will give you the confidence to follow your heart, even when it leads you off the well worn path.
