I have been craving a cup of regular Joe. Not plain black but with a hint of cream or a dollop of Almond milk. It’s not that I have not had coffee the last three weeks. Absolutely did. Tons of them without a doubt. It’s just that it’s not the same.
European coffee is hugely the espressos where I struggled to find cream to add. The option were cappuccinos and lattes which had loads of milk. As a diabetic I’m also trying to avoid Lactose the milk sugars. While in India the coffee’s were mostly made with milk as the base though the strong coffee flavours came through the concept of filters used to make drip coffee.
So back to reality tomorrow and I hope to go back to routine coffee that I most enjoy - 12 long ounces of Dark French roasted coffee with my right balance of Cashew-Almond blended coffee creamer substitute.
