We found Wordle a few weeks ago. And slowly all of the family members including my in-laws play it religiously every day and this has brought the family together in a small way to talk about a single topic that brings some coherence to the group.
For me personally, anything that wakes me up to get me out of bed so that I can try it out while on the toilet seat each day is a wonderful solution. On top of it, it is seductively simple and addictive.
But all good things come to an end or so they say. Within several weeks of launch, the site has now 45 million active visitors each day and was bought over from the developer for a few million dollars a couple of days ago. NewYork Time which acquired this app has said it will keep it free, “for now”, whatever that means.
But in the meantime, we keep on Wordling it (is it even a word?)
