The luxury of deferring life to later has its costs
We tend to believe in the tomorrow. There are things that need to be done every day which are accretive to us. One cannot measure change on the small things that add up. One doesn’t know what the benefit of going to a gym for one-day offers. Or eating right for a day. Or treating someone well. But in the long run, these add up. Drip by drip by drip.
And what you do each day patterns your life in the long run. So don’t defer life. Some might be lucky to get away with the minimum or the excesses, but for others, are we ready to pay the price it demands? The luxury of deferring life to later does have its costs.
