My wife and I are in the process of redecorating the house. As the painting project slowly ends, we decided not to put back the same decorations where they were before.

We are both wary of spending large amounts on wall decor, which are often overpriced. And we agreed that it makes more sense to buy something like this reused. It is preferable to recycle old items and prolong their use rather than buy new ones.

So we start looking around to find pieces that work for us. We found our first piece of wall art for the powder room for $8. A great reuse bargain. And after looking around on Kijiji a popular Canadian site we found an excellent 50 x 39 inches picture of the iconic London double-decker bus originally made and sold by Ikea. And at less than one-third of its original price. It is now at home to be mounted on a feature wall that we created.

Eco reuse chic is the way to go for home decoration. It is an environmentally-friendly choice that makes economic sense too.
