From Frankfurt to Frankfurt

And from Munich to Munich...

I left this morning from Frankfurt to travel to India. And after a couple of hours the Lufthansa Airbus A340-300 blew up (not literally) one of its four engines. After taking an hour to vent out the jet fuel we landed safely two hours later. So, after a four hour round trip I am back to Frankfurt again and staying for the night arranged the airline.

A second try to make the trip tomorrow. The irony is that I came from Munich to Frankfurt to take the direct flight to Chennai (Madras). Tomorrow I got back to Munich again to try the Mumbai flight (Bombay) and then onward to Chennai from there. I have been traveling to Munich up and down for the last two days.

This trip has its challenges with changes and adjustments happening to my schedule from its original program. It is going to take a couple of weeks to figure out how it really all played out compared to my original plan.
