Time flies. Meaninglessly so. Of course, meaning is something that one makes of it. It seems the time flies, though time does no such thing. It moves on in a predictable pace, not speeding up and not slowing down. Second at time. Minute at time. Day at a time and so on…
So the frame at which one looks at determines who things are and the meaning that we attribute to it. And I think my perspective is a “time loss” frame than an achievement frame, a value frame or a more positive “what can I do with what I have?” frame.
So in my current frame of mind…
the seconds are lost
the minutes are lost
the hours are lost
the days are lost
the weeks are lost
the months are lost
the years are lost
the decades are lost
perhaps the life nearly lost…
I do have to reframe and find an answer on how to move from this “time loss” frame to something else. Perhaps?
