I left it at “It’s the belt or me” the last time. And now I want to parade my victory tour.
The belt continued to rattle the next day and I finally decided that it had to go. But, then again, I was skeptical about throwing away a perfectly good belt except for the rattle.
Rake the brain time.
I did an inventory of all the belts that I use. I found one of them in bad shape and a much larger size than I needed. I swapped the belt buckle between the two belts and salvaged one better belt out of it. And out went the rattling buckle with the used belt.
A win-win as they say. Two birds with one stone. And saving the planet by some recycling and reuse in that process. And even most above all, I won. Ah, the feeling of sweet victory.
