A couple of weeks ago we had brutally low temperatures. -15 centigrade made worse with the windchill. It was 5:30 AM in the morning and I peeked out of the window to see how much snow was out there. There had been considerable snow overnight perhaps around 20 cms or more but it had all been cleaned up.
I looked around and saw on my left side my neighbors’ driveway was clear of snow. And to his left as well. And also the next 3 to 4 houses to the right. Drieways and sidewalks were all clean. And there was Dave cleaning the snow in front of one of the houses in blistery winter weather. For 8-9 houses including his own. This is the kind of heart of gold the world needs and there are people like this around. That is what makes the world go around. Still.
