Thanks for the ride...

Muse #509 - truly from the heart

Today is another of those special days with my person who has shared most of her life with me. And so today’s note is to thank her. What else would be most appropriate?

It is such a long time that we two people have coexisted together. It is once in a lifetime chance event that possibly set us together. The universe could have no other meaning other than that for it. When we started we possibly never knew the ride of our life that we were set to navigate through.

Several countries, cities, jobs, journeys, and travels later we are still a cohort journeying life and its events together - the good and the bad, the ups and its downs, the roller coasters and the surprises and the lucky downpours.

The kids and the family members - close and the distant, the friends, colleagues, and the acquaintances, all abound. And of course the ubiquitous social networks more so of the electronic kind.

Never could we have imagined the places we will go to and the life we did live. I am truly blessed to have known you and this life lived with you and what lies ahead. We have been so long together that I can’t even remember much of the earlier part of my life. All I seem to remember is our life together and it feels like a fulfilling lifetime of it.
