My life is cluttered with dead blogs all over the internet. This try has not been so bad lasting more than four months. But musings don't get me anywhere except check off my ego that I spoke out or screamed out something.
My work-related blogs have not been so successful. Not yet, so far, anyway. Especially with a tall-order goal of trying to have a successful blog to generate work from it. Two years I started with 2agility.consulting which was hosted on WordPress. Instead of focusing on growing the site, I focused next on moving it over to AWS because it offered more flexibility in managing the site (or multiple sites) and this led to 2agility.com - both sites now exist with the migration never completed.
I understood along the way especially with the use of Substack is what I really needed was to find a platform that lets me focus on the work rather than the technology. No overheads of themes, upgrades, plug-ins, security holes. I have looked around and evaluated several options to achieve this.
So, that brought me to Ghost. A hosted platform more suitable than WordPress for my needs. I, therefore, started my current experiment with Ghost v4.0 SaaS seems to be the one that I need to bring this focus on creating content rather than on managing the site. And I have started working on developing a brand new site on this platform. With no plans to migrate the content from the previous two sites. As nobody cares. And neither do I. So, once this is up, the two sites will be taken down.
And you should be the first to know when this site launches. As I have another tall order commitment to write this blog each day or top of my musing here at 1littleanthro.
Coming soon… very soon.
