Life is a metaphorical lottery and I am glad to say that I have won. And I could not be any luckier than this. As part of that winning, I turned 500,000 hours into my life today. That is half a million hours and counting. 30 million bingo minutes. And 1.8 billion lotto seconds. No wonder I am blinding smug and happy.
And thanks for the family I have around me, my extended family at arm’s length (sometimes that is close enough for comfort), and all my earthly possessions on top of what I have physically and emotionally. My larger networks of people with whom I interact and various people have supported me at a variety of times. Thanks to you and your support I am rich and I have certainly won in life.
And thanks to all these opportunities lined up to celebrate - I recently celebrated my billion minutes with my spouse, I also get to each lot of cake… that seems to be my diabetic cravings.
